Tequila a.k.a. “Fuzzy Face”

I’ve got a deadline for an article tomorrow. And I am a major procrastinator. I have no problem admitting that. And I also have no problem admitting that I am little bit more in love with photography than I am with journalism. There can only be one number one, right?

So here are a few goodies of a 15-month-old hunting dog. Please don’t ask me for the breed, she is a mix of two that I can’t even pronounce. But she is a cutie!

Half listening

My almost 7-months-old Mac got this new thing. And since he keeps changing all of the time I thought I capture it before it’s gone again.

Just a few weeks ago he was known as “batman”. Everyone we met would say “Look at those ears!” because he’d spread them all out on the side of his head. Now his constant expression is this:

I wonder if this explains his selective hearing of my commands!?

Lack of Camera

Since I just got my camera back from the repair center (literally two minutes ago) I did not bring back lovely images of floppy ears from this weekend’s trip. I will have to go back to Nebraska for a hound that has a face made for pictures!

So just to let no one hanging I dug out a few pics I took a couple of months ago in Weatherford, TX. Not pet related, but pretty nevertheless.

Cocker Spaniel and some fasting

I am forced to a fast. From photography. Today I sent in my camera for repair and wont be getting it back for at least a week. To make up for this sad time I made sure I’d have a lovely dog to take plenty of pictures of this past weekend. Enjoy lovely Sam and find more pictures of him on my facebook site.

Mr Mischievous

He pulls all kinds of pranks, but who couldn’t love these sweet eyes?

It’s a dogs life

So is a dog’s life a good or a bad thing? Although personally I would choose to be a cat, I sure think it would be a nice life when I look at my ever happy pup. But there are so many lovely, lovely pooches out there who lead the dog’s life the saying is talking of. So I decided to donate 10% of every pet photography session to a local shelter or animal rescue group. Shoot me an email if you want to help AND get some fabulous pictures of your pooch.

Here is a little and two not so little ones who definitely love to be alive!

Puppies and Kittens

I finally found the time to spent some time with Mr. Machiavelli a.k.a. Mac, whom adopted about three weeks ago down in Texas. So this afternoon I spent lots of time on my stomach on the floor. I think mopping won't be necessary anymore. Mac was a little annoyed by the beeping of my camera and everytime I thought I had a good shot he got very irritated and moved to sleep at another place. But eventually he learned to ignore me and even laid down in the pool for me. Good puppy!

Enjoy.
