Today I was able to shoot a few hours at Winston Hansma Cutting Horses in Weatherford. And all I can say is: Super happy foals!!! They sure seem to have THE life out there.
I have a love for details. Work brought me to Oswood Stallion Station in Weatherford, TX. I got many good pictures of mares, foals and yearlings, but I just love those details!
This one is for Megan! Sorry you broke your arm, I hope seeing your tiger and his new buddy can cheer you up a little. He is doing very good, plays like crazy and in a week or so both of them will also have a backyard to play in.
One of my first but still favorite pictures has made it into the top ten of an equine photo contest. You can go and vote for the picture named "True Love" in the Amateur Division here: http://www.equinephotocontest.com/peopleschoice.asp
I have been in Texas for a while now. Last weekend I finally got the change again to take some horse pictures. Long awaited, here are the first few of the beginning summer.
